Elevate your veggie game with this Air Fryer Cauliflower! Made with just a handful of ingredients, it’s deliciously seasoned, easy to make, and comes out perfect every time!
I’ve always been a huge veggie fan… and I’ll take them any way I can get them. But if we’re talking about favorites… I’ve recently fallen in love with air fryer vegetables. And there’s no going back.
This Air Fried Cauliflower is my latest obsession, and once you try it I’m sure you’ll see why. Not only is it perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of kick… but with the air fryer, it comes out deliciously tender-crisp with only a tablespoon of oil.
Let me just say that again. ONE TABLESPOON of oil! For an entire head of cauliflower. And it tastes just like it was roasted… which we all know requires a lot more oil.
Don’t have an air fryer? That’s ok. You can still enjoy the delicious flavors of this recipe (and don’t forget the sauce)! You just might need to use a little more oil. Which… really… is no big deal.
Ingredients
For the cauliflower:
- 1 head cauliflower, cut into florets
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- red pepper flakes, for garnish
For the lemon pepper aioli:
- ½ cup mayo
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- ½ teaspoon pepper
Instructions
- Combine olive oil and seasonings in a gallon size ziploc bag. Add cauliflower and shake to coat.
- Spray air fryer basket with olive oil using an oil mister (**do NOT use aerosol cooking spray, as it can damage the inside of the basket**).
- Add half of the seasoned cauliflower and air fry at 400° for 8-10 minutes. Pull basket out halfway through and shake briefly so cauliflower cooks evenly.
- Once the first batch is done, remove it from the air fryer basket, add the second half of the cauliflower, and repeat.
- Garnish with red pepper flakes and serve with lemon pepper aioli.
Recipe variations
- Use pre-chopped (bagged) cauliflower
- Use a combination of broccoli and cauliflower
- Substitute any of your favorite seasonings
- Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese for the last minute in the air fryer
- Substitute garlic aioli for the lemon pepper aioli
- For less spice, eliminate the cayenne pepper and red pepper flakes
